ARASH BERELIANI, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Arash Bereliani, also known as "Dr. B the Heart Doc", is a world-renowned expert leading the Preventative and Functional Cardiovascular Disease field. He is Board-Certified in Cardiovascular and Internal Medicine. His vision that nobody should die before the age of 100 was the inception of B100. He actively serves as the Medical Director for B100 overseeing the clinical research team and clinical decision making.
He has served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at UCLA’s Geffen School of Medicine since 2003. He is also on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s renowned Center of Excellence, where he was recently chosen to lead new technology initiatives for cardiovascular diseases and is the Medical Director at The Beverly Hills Institute of Cardiology and Preventive Medicine.
Board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine, Dr. Bereliani is uniquely positioned as one of the few cardiologists worldwide, who possess in-depth knowledge of functional and orthomolecular medicine to apply an integrative approach that seeks to use all scientific and proven methods available (not just medication) to treat heart disease.
As an expert in both preventive cardiology and integrative medicine, with an interest in predictive biomarkers of cardiovascular disease Dr. B is active in publishing, teaching and research. His book, “Heart Attack, Will It Happen to Me” hit Amazons best seller list within 4 hours of its release. He serves on the steering committee of numerous multicenter clinical trials and is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and an active member of the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, ASNC the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM), the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM).
He received his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences in Chicago, where he was ranked number one in his graduating class (of 192 students), receiving numerous awards and honors that includes being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society, a fraternity (top 10% of medical students in the country are invited). He went on to complete his internal medicine and cardiology training at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
